Welcome Back!

Ryan Taylor visits our school

Ryan Taylor visited the Anamoose-Drake Elementary on Thursday afternoon.  Ryan is a rancher who lives just north of Anamoose and Drake.  He is also running for Governor for the state of North Dakota.  Ryan performed cowboy rope tricks for the students in grades PK-6.  He even got a couple of our teachers involved. Along with his roping tricks, Ryan also presented the message of the importance of reading and the value of a good education.  Thanks, Ryan, for taking the time to be an inspiration to our students.

She serves as a goodwill ambassador for the state’s dairy farmers and visits consumers in various settings. Her purpose is to show to the citizens of our state the dedication of North Dakota’s dairy farmers to wholesome and delicious dairy products and their commitment to the land and their animals. The fourth, fifth, and sixth grade classes had the opportunity to learn about dairy cattle from when they are born to when they begin producing milk, how milk gets to the hands of consumers, and the purpose of dairy in your diet.
