2026 Volleyball District Tournament Bracket

Mason and Jade have been working hard with the National FFA Band. They arrived in Indianapolis on Saturday evening to start rehearsals. Yesterday was their first performance. They will perform at different times throughout convention. Bianca arrived to Indianapolis last evening and is working as a courtesy corp member today and Friday. The band will perform tomorrow morning at opening session 1b, Friday at session 4 and 6, and Saturday at session 7. For information about live streaming sessions online, visit ffa.org! The Aggie Foundation will be paying the admission fee for all Drake-Anamoose, Velva and Garrison students for Saturday's playoff game vs Trinity. Game starts at 1:00.

🎶 Congratulations to Julia and Logan on being selected to participate in the Region 7 Junior High Honor Band! 🎶 Julia played the alto saxophone, and Logan played the baritone as they joined students from schools across the area for this special musical experience. Over two weeks, they learned four concert band selections and spent a full day rehearsing at Turtle Lake-Mercer High School before putting on a fantastic afternoon concert! 👏🏼 Great job, Julia and Logan! 👏🏼

🧥 Brrr… It’s Getting Chilly! 🥶 With cooler temperatures here, please make sure the elementary students are coming to school prepared for outdoor recess! Having coats, hats, and gloves along will help keep everyone warm and comfortable as we head into the colder months. We want everyone staying warm while enjoying some fresh air! 😊

Some FBLA members competed at MSU's Tech Day. We represented the school well! Placers for the competitions were: Kalleen Lowe-3rd place in Software Presentation, Ashly n Kromery-3rd place in Business Law, Jadyn Ehrman-3rd place in Spreadsheets, Mason Schuh-2nd place in Personal Finance, and Jade Uhlich-1st place in Business Fundamentals.

🎼On Friday, Mason, Jade, Emily, and Greyson attended Woodwind Day at NDSU! They participated in masterclasses led by guest woodwind artists, rehearsed alongside the NDSU Wind Symphony, attended a recital, explored the woodwind vendor expo, and performed in a recital with NDSU woodwind ensembles. What a wonderful opportunity to learn from talented musicians, grow as performers, and share their love of music! 🎶 Great job, young musicians!🎶

Our Anamoose-Drake 5th graders, Millie, Wyatt, and Airronn, had an amazing opportunity to participate in Surround the State in Song at Minot North High School under the direction of Jaque Marum, choir director at Bottineau Public School! After spending the entire day rehearsing with students from across the state, they wrapped up the experience by delivering a wonderful concert. What a special day filled with music, teamwork, and learning!

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to State Superintendent Levi Bachmeier for taking the time to stop by our schools today! We appreciate the opportunity to share the great things happening in our classrooms, highlight the hard work of our students and staff, and discuss the unique opportunities and challenges of education in rural North Dakota. Apparently, we were so busy enjoying the conversations that we forgot to take more pictures! However, often times the best visits are the ones where you’re too engaged in the moment to remember the camera. Thank you again for taking the time to visit!
