Yesterday, our students had the incredible opportunity to attend the Celebration of Music at Minot State University. They spent the day working on a musical set alongside students from other schools, culminating in a beautiful concert that evening. The band was conducted by Mr. Pat Schwan, trumpet instructor at MSU, and the choir was led by Mr. John Swedberg, Assistant Professor of Music at MSU. 🎶 Congratulations to our talented students for another remarkable musical achievement! 🎶

For our October castle time our K-6 students took part in a school-wide kindness activity. We learned what kindness means, shared ideas for how we can show it each day, and practiced thinking of ways to make each and every one of us a kinder person. We know kindness takes practice and we’re working on it all the time here!
This is our students’ kindness tree, where everyone wrote down 3 example of kindness to share with everyone.

Look who we spotted!! Mason is diligently practicing with the National FFA Band. They are getting ready for the 98th FFA National Convention in Indianapolis,IN which opens tomorrow. He is one of only three students from North Dakota selected for the band. How awesome is that! If you're viewing this on Facebook be sure to check out the sneak peek of his solo in the comments! We may be a little biased, but we sure feel they chose the best flutist for that piece! Great job, Mason!! Your talent is undeniable! 🖤🤍🩶
