Tomorrow is National Day of Unplugging. It's a day to unplug, relax, be active, go outdoors, talk with friends, and connect through socialization rather than social media. With no school tomorrow- Today, students in the SADD organization attended a presentation at Dakota College at Bottineau. Hannah Hoffert presented on the importance of “unplugging” and its impact on mental health. Afterwards, the students enjoyed some unplugging fun at Bottineau Winter Park!! It was perfect weather for a great time spent laughing and creating memories!
The kids gave incredible performances at the Sawyer Music Festival yesterday! Their hard work and talent truly shined. Hats off to Mr. Lacsina for his dedication in guiding our students and helping them develop their musical skills!🎶

It was Academic Competition time for these six today in Bottineau, and they didn't disappoint! They placed in the top three in the first round and then rocked the lightening round! Congrats, Region 2 Champs! They are State Bound! 🩶🤍🖤

Per NDCC 15.1-09-09 notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 the Anamoose Public School District will hold the annual election for the purpose of electing two school board members. There is presently two positions that will be up for election. The directors whose terms that is up for election are Carrie Hager and Heather Mayer. The election seat is for the “At Large” geographic area of the Anamoose Public School, for a three year term. Join us next week as we celebrate the magical world of Dr. Seuss with a fun-filled week of themed dress-up days at the Elementary School! Students are invited to get creative and show off their Seuss-tastic spirit each day.
The 3rd-6th grade students and selected 7th-8th graders will participate in the Sawyer Music Festival next Wednesday, March 5th. Mr. Lacsina sent a note home earlier this week with more details. Spectators are welcome! Students will leave after breakfast and arrive back in time for afternoon buses.

Saturday was Bus Driver Appreciation Day, and we can’t say enough about how much we appreciate the folks who get our kids to and from school safely every day.
On Friday, the Elementary students spent their Castle Time making tie blankets and cards as a small way to say thank you for all they do. They even made one for Miss Gilbertson, who not only fills in on buses but also wears so many hats in our school!

After school program for 3-6 Hour of Code with Miss Gilbertson has been moved to Thursday 2/20! There will be no after school program Tuesday.
Time change: Tomorrow's game at Glenburn has been moved up. JV will start at 5:00 with Varsity to follow.
Due to the extreme cold predicted for tomorrow we will have a late start. School will start at 10:00.
