Easter Bingo is happening Friday, April 11, 7 pm, at the Anamoose VFW.

On Saturday, our students took part in the Region 8 Small Group and Solos Music Festival at Minot State University. We’re happy to share the results of their performances: STAR Rating – Superior Performance (State Qualified):     •    Mason Schuh – Flute Solo     •    Emily Countess – Tenor Saxophone Solo     •    Evelyn Isaak – Clarinet Solo Excellent Performance Rating:     •    Jade Uhlich – Flute Solo     •    Rylee Pierce – Soprano Solo     •    Mason Schuh, Bianca Burkle, Ashlynn Kromrey, Jade Uhlich – Flute Quartet     •    Jade Uhlich, Emily Countess, Mason Schuh, Evelyn Isaak – Mixed Woodwind Ensemble The STAR qualifiers will be moving on to perform at the State Music Festival on May 3rd at Bismarck State College. Congratulations to all our student musicians for their effort and dedication!

It is just so sweet to get to compete..🍫..at the Glenburn Speech meet that is! It was another successful meet and a great final practice before the regional meet this coming Friday. Thursday night was the 2nd Annual FFA Banquet held at the Drake KC Hall. Members were recognized for their hard work throughout the year, and Scott Spear was recognized as an Honorary Member for all of his dedication and support of the program, our students, and the school. It was a wonderful night! Congratulations to the students and their advisor, Mrs. Duchsherer on another successful FFA year! We are excited to see what the future brings!

The Book Blast books are here, and the excitement is real! Every student will be bringing home their brand-new books today, and it was such a joy to see their faces light up—so many smiles and so much enthusiasm! Again, on behalf of all our students, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to make this possible, including the Anamoose Civic Club and the Drake Community Club. Your generosity is helping to spark a love of reading that will last a lifetime!📚

Mrs. Gahner’s 3rd graders are seeing the results of their hard work! Thanks to microgreen kits from the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, students have successfully grown their own tiny crops. They’ve learned about plant life cycles, healthy eating, and the joy of growing food. Look at those greens! 🌱

Another successful day! BOTH the Junior High and Senior High Science Olympiad teams have advanced to the State Competition in Fargo! Congratulations!!

DRAKE-ANAMOOSE FBLA As many of you know, our students hold 3 of the 10 state officer positions for FBLA including Evelyn Isaak as State Social Media Coordinator, Zack Volson as State Treasurer and Jade Uhlich as State Parliamentarian. The FFA Winter CDEs came to a close yesterday at the State Contest. Several of our students broke their personal records! Hard work does pay off!
